He called and said he needs to make large circles using PVC Pipe to keep the deer from his orchard trees. He said the pipe has to be heated and shaped or it wants to straighten out again. Another caller is running a water line up his hill to a water fall. Another is making a fountain while another is making a misting tunnel. Others use it to replace steel and wood on their stage sets and props. How about the homebuilder that was using PVC Pipe for bannisters. The list goes on. This is where the PVC Bendit comes in… PVC Bendits happens to be the most affordable, portable, and Longest PVC heaters/benders available. The Series A fits inside ½” Schedule 40 PVC Pipe and is available in 6 lengths:18”, 3’, 6’, 9’, 10’ and 20. And they use 120 volt and 10 or less amps.
This novel product uses a flexible heater placed inside 3/8” flexible steel conduit. They can be inserted entirely into the pipe so if you need a short bend 10 in a 20’ pipe your shortest unit can do it. Or if you need to make the circles the 10 or 20’ units work great. Opps – For best results you’ll need to insulate the outside of the pipe to keep the heat in and provide more uniformity. We supply carbonized felt for 2” and smaller diameter pipe but coated ½” fiberglass pipe insulation works great too.
